Quick Start

Objective of this guide: Complete the system deployment and basic configuration of the FLY-Lite2 within 30 minutes, bringing it to a state where the Klipper web interface is accessible.

Completion indicator: Access the Klipper web interface via a browser.

Important Notes
  • Required accessory: The FLY-Lite2 must be used with a TF card, otherwise the system will not boot
  • Power requirements: Only supports 5V input, do not connect higher voltages
  • Safety operation: The printer must be powered off and disconnected from the power supply before any wiring operations
  • System startup: It is recommended to complete the configuration via network SSH on the first startup

Step 1: Prepare Tools and Resources​

  • MobaXterm - Used for connecting to the host machine
  • CH340 - Serial port driver used for system connection
  • Panasonic_SDFormatter - Used for formatting the TF card
  • SetupSTM32CubeProgrammer - Used for flashing the firmware to the controller board

Notes:

  • Please confirm that the TF card has been properly formatted before flashing the image
  • The first system startup may take 3-5 minutes, please be patient
  • The default SSH username is root and the password is mellow

Recommendations:

  • It is recommended to configure and test extended features one by one to avoid changing too many parameters at once
  • Camera configuration requires additional USB camera device support
  • Resonance compensation requires an accelerometer sensor
  • Tool board connection is applicable to multi-toolhead 3D printers
