Important Safety Notice

• When using the FPC ribbon cable to connect the TFT or HDMI screen, always operate with the device completely powered off to prevent screen damage.
• When connecting the TFT screen, carefully confirm the insertion direction of the FPC ribbon cable to avoid equipment malfunction due to reversed connections.

Important Notes for Connecting and Configuring the TFT Screen

• Ribbon Cable Selection: Two FPC ribbon cables are included in the package: a 14P (narrow ribbon) and a 16P (wide ribbon). The FLY-Pi V3 must use the 16P wide ribbon cable.
• Touch Mode Selection: Set the switch on the back correctly according to the screen type:
• For a resistive screen, switch to the Resi position.
• For a capacitive screen, switch to the Cap position.
• Incorrect settings will cause the touch function to fail.

Screen Configuration

FLYOS-FAST System

FLYOS-FAST System Screen Configuration

1. Access the device IP address via browser, for example: http://192.168.6.110/

fluidd interface operation: Uncheck "Filter hidden files and folders"

mainsail interface operation: Check "Show hidden files"

2. Navigate to the displayed .flyos-config folder and locate the sys-config.conf configuration file

3. Edit the sys-config.conf file and select the appropriate configuration method according to your screen type:

TFT Resistive Screen Configuration

• Change the value after screen= to fly-tft-v2-r
• Change klipper_screen=0 to klipper_screen=1
• Below is a reference of the correctly modified configuration:

screen=fly-tft-v2-r

• Also change:

klipper_screen=1

TFT Capacitive Screen Configuration

• Change the value after screen= to fly-tft-v2-c
• Change klipper_screen=0 to klipper_screen=1
• Below is a reference of the correctly modified configuration:

• Also change:

klipper_screen=1

HDMI Screen Configuration

• Change the value after screen= to hdmi
• Change klipper_screen=0 to klipper_screen=1

• Change the value after moon2uart= from 0 to 1
• Below is a reference of the correctly modified configuration:

4. Save the file after making changes and restart the system for the configuration to take effect
