Pinout
- This page lists the pinout of the FLY-C8 mainboard after flashing Klipper firmware. The pin numbers are based on the mainboard schematic.
UART/CSis the driver communication pin: used as UART when using TMC2209, and as chip selectCSwhen using SPI drivers such as TMC5160. The same pin is multiplexed.ENis the enable pin, which is typically active-low (enable_pinwith a!prefix) in Klipper configuration.DIAGis the driver diagnostic signal pin. When using sensorless homing, configure the correspondingdiag_pinaccording to the table below.
Driver Pins
The FLY-C8 provides 8 driver ports:
| Driver | STEP | DIR | EN | UART/CS | DIAG |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| DRIVER0 | PE5 | PA8 | PA15 | PC9 | PD9 |
| DRIVER1 | PE4 | PC11 | PC12 | PC10 | PD8 |
| DRIVER2 | PE3 | PD1 | PD2 | PD0 | PD11 |
| DRIVER3 | PE2 | PD4 | PD5 | PD3 | PD10 |
| DRIVER4 | PE1 | PD7 | PB6 | PD6 | PA5 |
| DRIVER5 | PE0 | PC13 | PC14 | PB7 | PA4 |
| DRIVER6 | PE7 | PE11 | PE10 | PC15 | PD15 |
| DRIVER7 | PE8 | PA7 | PA6 | PE9 | PA3 |
Please completely power off the printer and disconnect the power supply before starting. Do not plug or unplug wiring harnesses, arrange interface wiring, or touch terminals while the printer is powered on.
In the table, rows where the Corresponding Driver DIAG is not - indicate that the driver's DIAG is connected to the corresponding input port on the main controller. When enabling sensorless homing, configure diag_pin directly according to the table. The corresponding input port will be occupied by the DIAG signal; do not connect mechanical or optical endstop switches simultaneously. The RGB / PWM rows are not DIAG inputs and cannot be used for sensorless homing.
SPI Bus
SPI drivers such as the TMC5160 use the mainboard's hardware SPI bus. Configure spi_bus: spi1a in the configuration; there is no need to configure MOSI/MISO/SCLK pins separately:
[tmc5160 stepper_x]
spi_bus: spi1a
cs_pin: Corresponding driver UART/CS pin

EXP Interface
- The EXP headers are commonly used for displays such as the Mini12864 or for expanding peripherals.
- If a pin is already occupied by SPI, UART, endstop, fan, or other functions, do not configure it again for the EXP peripheral.
